Andy was off on a slide show tour and we tagged along to climb some routes in between events. There was lots of driving, lots of sleeping in car parks and lots of slush. It was the complete Andy K experience and the film hasn't come out too bad. Funny and insightful this film looks at a climber's need for introspection while at the same time providing a master class in climbing snow and ice in marginal conditions. It also includes a lovely selection of Andy's slides with plenty of choice quotes from his lectures. Leo Houlding's ambitious project to make a first free ascent on the North Tower of the incredible 'Mount Asgard' on Baffin Island deep in the Arctic. Leo teams up with fellow big wall climbing god Sean 'Stanley' Leary, the duo hope to make a wingsuit descent from the summit after the climb.

Prior to the Baffin trip we embark on training trips to Riglos in Spain, Brento in Italy and El Cap in Yosemite. Arriving late in the Arctic season the trip soon begins to go wrong. Franco Cookson burst onto the climbing scene over 10 years ago and has been leaving an indelible mark ever since. His early career in particular played out in an unusually public manner on the UK’s climbing forums, where his hard and bold first ascents on his home ground of the North York Moors would often receive much skeptical analysis.
